the room was clean and functional. the bed was neither too soft or hard. water was plenty hot enough. there was free coffee and hot chocolate available.

the customer service attitude about the deposit was sarcastic. they drew attention to the fact that a customer shouldn't just book at last minute. it was unnecessary to be sarcastic as i was only asking a question. there were steep steps into the hotel.

I found the self check-in process very simple and convenient! my standard double room was very clean. the bed was comfortable and offered a good night's sleep, i slept well. the kettle in the room was useful. I could collect tea and coffee from the 'living room'.

Street noise was noticeable, especially loud cars at times.

the hotel is well-situated in a vibrant neighborhood with a wide array of dining options and excellent public transport links. it is very easy to explore the city. i loved the convenience of accessing nearby attractions.
